Winter Covers

When it comes to closing a swimming pool, there are a few options for covers, including automatic, mesh, and solid safety covers.

  1. Automatic covers: These covers are motorized and can be controlled with a key or remote. They are made of vinyl or composite materials and are custom-fitted to the pool’s shape and size. Automatic covers are designed to keep debris out of the pool and prevent people or pets from accidentally falling in. They are easy to use and can be opened or closed in just a few minutes.
  2. Mesh covers: These covers are made of a tight-knit mesh material that allows water to pass through but keeps debris and leaves out. They are secured to the pool deck with straps and anchors, and can be custom-fitted to the pool’s shape and size. Mesh covers are a good option for areas with high winds, as they allow for some air circulation and prevent the cover from being damaged or blown off.
  3. Solid safety covers: These covers are made of a durable, solid material that completely blocks out sunlight and prevents any debris from entering the pool. They are anchored to the pool deck with straps and anchors and can be custom-fitted to the pool’s shape and size. Solid covers are a good option for areas with a lot of trees or debris, as they provide the most protection for the pool.

In addition to keeping the pool clean and safe, a properly installed pool cover can also help conserve water and energy by reducing the amount of evaporation and heat loss. It’s important to choose a cover that fits your specific needs and to have it professionally installed to ensure it provides the maximum amount of safety and protection for your pool.
